Gary Wolfe has been kind to answer questions for myself and a few friends who are not RAA members yet.

It is a bit lonely here flying a non-certified plane, do not get me wrong the GA guys here are great friends and have been very encouraging; that being said, it is important to have mentors who understand what I fly and who I can call upon for advice.

Cheers,

Dave

FINALLY GOOD WX. Another RAA member showed up, so we got three planes up and the MNR landed to set up a temporary base for fire patrol.

Hi Dave,

Good to see you online! It's been a cool spring here on the Wet Coast - hoping for better flying weather soon. Did you get any info on the ball caps and decals? If not, give Gary Wolf a call (contact info on website) - should be able to point you in the right direction.

George,

Thank you so much. No I did not get the info yet - maybe I will phone him, no rush though. Its just that the people at our airport do not like me wearing one from an airport on the big Island across the North channel (Gore Bay on Manitoulin(:

Actually I came on here to find out how often the magazine comes out; would it be bi-monthly? I just rejoined RAA after a few years hiatus $$.

(too many Dave's)

PS We have a daughter and grand-kids in Richnond, BC. and there is a Toucan out there too.

Hi Dave(r),

Sorry for the late reply. The magazine comes out every two months. The May June issue is just about ready for publication and should reach members' hands by late June. Issues from 2006 onwards can be viewed online on the RAA website under the "Magazine" tab.
